Christian Sex Therapy

Dr. Blake is a professionally trained counselor with state recognition as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. In addition, he has the distinction of completing the two year post-graduate training program in Sex Therapy at the Karl Menninger Institute, Topeka, Kansas. Following his training and supervised internship, he was certified as a Sex Therapist by the American Board of Sexology.

Dr. Blake is a devout Christian with extensive Biblical knowledge and a strong commitment to Christian values of living and serving, but of course he accepts and respects those of differing faiths and values. He provides sex therapy services to people regardless of their backgrounds, but will not violate the principles of his of own faith to do so. Dr. Blake will readily inform potential sex therapy clients if he detects that the principles by which he operates would run counter to the services they want.

Dr. Blake does not impose his religious belief system on others; but those of Christian faith can know that their religious beliefs will be highly respected, encouraged and even enhanced. He provides professional services from a Christian perspective which means that he combines his Biblical knowledge with his academic preparation to help people overcome their problems and find peace, joy and contentment for their lives.

With some justification, many Christians who want counseling services are suspicious of professional counselors who are not committed Christian believers and especially those who are sex therapists. In Dr. Blake's office, clients feel assured that their counselor shares their basic beliefs and that he does everything possible to help them feel comfortable with sex therapy services.
